The Burning of Paper
Post-Enlightenment America
Categories: new

Let us lower our heads and pray.
Bring us America of yesteryear:
at least whites were doing okay.
Take me back to when

the niggers were getting lynched
and Mickey Rooney was more fit to play a chink or jap or whatever
(who can tell the difference?)
That spick can’t do nothin but pick
(still mostly true!)

Back in the day I didn’t have to remember:
not to call them spicks or japs or whatever
I was enlightened, not in need of enlightenment.

God, I bow my head and pray:
return us to some good old fashioned American values.
Whites ran the show and it was okay.
